Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Boyko Kersikov (ranked 865 p4p, 583 weight class) and Bofur Widenose (ranked 125 p4p, 81 weight class). Kersikov comes to the cage accompanied by Sefa - God's Plan. Boyko Kersikov is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 1, fighting out of New York, Boyko Kersikov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bofur Widenose!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Widenose gets a double leg takedown into Kersikov's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kersikov tries to lock up and control but Widenose gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Kersikov is desperately trying to improve his position but Widenose has a good base and remains in mount.

and Kersikov makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Widenose feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Kersikov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Widenose working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
