Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mad Hatter (ranked 2865 p4p, 2664 weight class) and Roger Andermatt (ranked 172 p4p, 165 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Mad Hatter has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Mad Hatter seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 24 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Roger Andermatt!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andermatt darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Hatter staying out of range there.
Andermatt connects with a body shot.
Andermatt uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hatter.
Hatter takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hatter avoids a kick to the body.
Andermatt throws a body punch but Hatter moves out of range.
Andermatt will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Hatter takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
We've been told by Hatter's head coaches at Yellow Lotus Center of Healing and Meditative Arts that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Hatter takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Andermatt lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hatter throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hatter loads up on a big right hand but Andermatt slips the punch.

Hatter throws a lazy right hand but Andermatt sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Hatter takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Hatter throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Andermatt stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Andermatt is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Andermatt misses with a body punch
and Hatter cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Andermatt throws a good cross that connects.
Hatter lands the left hand.

It looks like Roger Andermatt has been cut.

Andermatt uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hatter.
Andermatt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hatter throws a looping overhand right but Andermatt ducks down to avoid it.

and Hatter counters with a stiff right hand.

Andermatt is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Hatter counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
