And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bofur Widenose!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Widenose takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Widenose moves out of range as Distefano throws a body kick.
Widenose feints the counter takedown.
Widenose ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Widenose changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Distefano gets tackled into the cage by Widenose. Widenose maintains the clinch.
Widenose is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Distefano pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Widenose tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Distefano just stands there and leans against the cage.
Distefano goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Distefano scores with a shot to the side of Widenose's head.
Distefano lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Widenose.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A head punch on the inside from Distefano fails to land.
Distefano makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Widenose tries for a takedown but Distefano manages to get underhooks.

Widenose prevents a body shot from Distefano.
Widenose is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Distefano is keeping busy.

Widenose escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Distefano gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Widenose is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Distefano pulls his head out easily.

Widenose tries to roll over but Distefano keeps him under control.
Widenose has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Distefano. Oh but Widenose has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Distefano goes limp - he's gone! Widenose jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
