Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Lalime (ranked 1762 p4p, 1647 weight class) and Kwawi Mumba (ranked 290 p4p, 270 weight class). Kwawi Mumba has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Anthony Lalime's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 18 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Anthony Lalime! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kwawi Mumba! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mumba misses with a body shot
and Lalime counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Lalime looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Lalime misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mumba.
A little jabbing left from Mumba on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Mumba displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lalime throws out the jab. Mumba throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Mumba throws an off balance right hand
and Lalime connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mumba lands with a hook. Lalime tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Mumba misses with a straight right. A big right from Mumba misses. Lalime was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Kwawi Mumba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lalime scores with a hook. Mumba displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lalime throws out the jab. Mumba is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Lalime with a body shot. Lalime throws a good cross that connects.
Mumba misses with a hook to the body
and Lalime connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Mumba ducks under a wild hook from Lalime. Mumba lands a nice hook to Lalime's body. Lalime takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Lalime takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mumba drops Lalime with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lalime looks back up at him and smiles so Mumba waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Lalime is rocked!
It looks like Anthony Lalime has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mumba throws a shot from downtown. Lalime moves away and avoids it. Oh Lalime is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Lalime walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Mumba! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kwawi Mumba! A relieved looking Kwawi Mumba thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
