Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hole Reemer (ranked 1899 p4p, 2221 weight class) and Uwe Eggert (ranked 293 p4p, 340 weight class). Hole Reemer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hole Reemer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Uwe Eggert!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eggert misses with a looping left.
Eggert misses with a straight right.
A nice inside leg kick there by Reemer. That's going to slow Eggert down.
Reemer checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
A little feinted left hand from Reemer on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Reemer throws a body punch but Eggert moves out of range.
Eggert is looking for the big counter here.
Eggert connects with a single shot there.

It looks like Hole Reemer has been cut.

Reemer darts in and clinches Eggert up against the cage.
Reemer lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Eggert doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Eggert pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Uwe Eggert seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Eggert throws a hook to the side of Reemer's head but Reemer sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A lazy left from Eggert finds it's target.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Reemer lands a nice leg kick that just misses Eggert's sensitive parts.
No joy there for Eggert, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Eggert takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Eggert lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Reemer circles away quickly and effectively.

Reemer has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Mentor Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Eggert misses with a straight left.
Eggert throws a wild body kick that Reemer sees coming a mile off.
Reemer fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Eggert looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Reemer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Reemer moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Reemer manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Eggert on his heels. He'll look to pass Eggert's guard now, I'm sure.

Eggert has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Reemer off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Reemer moves out of range of the strikes.
Eggert misses with a wild combination.

Eggert pushes Reemer up against the cage in a clinch.
Eggert misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Eggert wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Eggert prevents a body shot from Reemer.
Reemer presses Eggert against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Reemer struggles to land a body shot inside as Eggert controls his hands.
Reemer lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Eggert throws an elbow but it misses.

Eggert breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Reemer moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Eggert on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
A low kick from Eggert misses
and Reemer counters with a stiff right hand.
Reemer scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Eggert feints and then cracks Reemer's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Reemer down.
Reemer lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
An inside leg kick lands from Reemer.
Reemer slips a straight right by Eggert.
Reemer lands a nice looking body shot.
Eggert tries to clinch but Reemer moves out of range.

Reemer takes the fight into the clinch.
Reemer stalling.
Reemer scores with a shot to the side of Eggert's head.
Eggert tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Reemer lands a hook that snaps the head of Eggert backwards.
Eggert has a couple of punches blocked by Reemer.
Eggert blocks an uppercut.
Reemer scores with a shot to the side of Eggert's head.
Reemer lands with a light punch inside.
Reemer goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Reemer lands a hook that snaps the head of Eggert backwards.
A head punch on the inside from Eggert fails to land.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Reemer dodges an elbow strike from Eggert.

Reemer lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Eggert trying to hold on to Reemer's head to control him but Reemer postures up.
Eggert gets full guard.
Reemer scoring with punches to the head and body.

Eggert has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Reemer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Reemer might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Eggert is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Reemer avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Reemer has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Reemer chips away with some ground and pound.
Eggert is still in real trouble! Can Reemer finish him?

Reemer won't allow Eggert to sweep him here.
Eggert seems to have recovered his senses.
Reemer is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Reemer keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Eggert's head.
Reemer distracts Eggert with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Reemer arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Eggert's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Hole Reemer!
In his post fight interview, Hole Reemer started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
