Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Frankie Venegas !

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Venegas shoots in looking for a takedown. Kay tries to sprawl out of it but Venegas keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kay manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kay blocks a head kick by Venegas .
Venegas shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting Kay counter with a right hand.
Kay stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Venegas forces Kay back against the cage and clinches.
Venegas goes for a takedown attempt but Kay pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Lars Kay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frankie Venegas .

and Venegas takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Venegas takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
No joy there for Venegas , who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Venegas is looking to clinch.
Kay scores with a hook to the body. Venegas takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Venegas tries to clinch but Kay moves out of range.
Kay is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

Frankie Venegas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Venegas closes the distance looking to clinch
and Kay counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
