Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Valentin Taneyev (ranked 121 p4p, 281 weight class) and Wille Thai (ranked 21 p4p, 47 weight class). Taneyev comes into the arena with Demolisher - Slaughter to Prevail blaring out of the sound system. The key to victory for Valentin Taneyev has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taneyev throws a hook but Thai avoids it easily.
Taneyev misses with a straight right.

Thai closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Taneyev has one foot on Thai's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Thai takes one on the chin but seems OK.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Taneyev tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Thai was well out of range. Poor timing from Taneyev.
Thai looking to score a takedown here. Taneyev is defending well but Thai drives through and ends up in Taneyev's guard.
Thai wants to pass the guard but Taneyev is keeping the position.

Thai working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Taneyev doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Taneyev manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Thai had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Taneyev defends it easily.
Thai has his feet on Taneyev's thighs here. He's pushed Taneyev off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Taneyev screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
