The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowy feints and then cracks Holliday's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Holliday down.
Holliday dodges the punch combination from Bowy.
Holliday half committed to a counter leg kick.
Bowy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Some wild striking there from Bowy.
Bowy slips a straight right by Holliday.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bowy throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bowy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Luke Bowy has been cut.
Luke Bowy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Holliday walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Bowy drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Holliday swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Bowy's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Henry Holliday!
John Henry Holliday tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
