The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick from Tepes Iii, right into the meat of the thigh.
Tepes Iii punishes Randy's body with a nice straight punch.
Randy takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Tepes Iii lands with a nice combination. Randy backs away looking to recover.
Tepes Iii scores with a shot to the body.
Tepes Iii throws a series of punches but Randy avoids them all with ease.
Randy drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Tepes Iii defends it well.

It looks like Tepes Iii has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Randy walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Randy takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Tepes Iii tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Randy is able to avoid easily.
A little jabbing left from Randy on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Tepes Iii feints and then cracks Randy's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Randy down.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Tepes Iii.
A nice side step and Randy releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Tepes Iii tries a head kick but it misses.
The fighters circling - Tepes Iii throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Randy might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Tepes Iii has got the better of the exchanges.
