Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lion Tiger (ranked 523 p4p, 756 weight class) and Paulo Kogos (ranked 73 p4p, 99 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Tiger might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Alok - Hear Me Tonight. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 23 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lion Tiger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paulo Kogos! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kogos scores with a nice strike. Paulo Kogos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kogos works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Kogos keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tiger. Tiger swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Tiger keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

The fighters circling - Kogos throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Kogos is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Tiger rather than just go for the knockout. Tiger throws the left hand but Kogos avoids the punch easily. Kogos cracks Tiger with a good jab. Kogos lands a jab-cross combination. Kogos throws a hook but Tiger blocks it. It looked like Tiger was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Kogos. Kogos misses with a low kick. Tiger seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tiger takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Kogos throws a hook but Tiger avoids it easily. Kogos misses with a leg kick and Tiger counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Paulo Kogos has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tiger works Kogos's body with a nice hook. Kogos slips under a jab. Kogos shoots in and gets a takedown into Tiger's guard. Tiger knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kogos on the ground. Kogos wants to control from the top but Tiger keeps moving. Tiger looking for a sweep. Not yet Tiger, not yet. Kogos throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Tiger avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kogos wants to pass the guard but Tiger is keeping the position. Kogos has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kogos postures up in Tiger's guard and throws a big left but Tiger blocks it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Paulo Kogos dominated that round. The cut man is working on Paulo Kogos's cut. That's time! Back to the action! Kogos slips a jab from Tiger. Kogos ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Tiger takes a body punch but keeps moving. Kogos throws a body punch but Tiger moves out of range. Tiger throws out a loose jab but Kogos uses good head movement to avoid it. Kogos stuns Tiger with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Tiger doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Kogos fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tiger manages to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kogos lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Tiger has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Tiger and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Tiger throws a right and a left that both miss. Kogos takes a swing at Tiger's ribcage but misses. Tiger swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Kogos misses with a hook. Tiger ducked under it nicely. Paulo Kogos seems to be getting the better of the standup.

He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kogos to score with a decent uppercut. Tiger avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Tiger was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Kogos keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tiger. Kogos lands with a shot to the body. Kogos shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kogos fails with a takedown attempt. Kogos swings away with a body shot that misses
and Tiger counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Kogos badly! He tries to strike back but Tiger puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Kogos out cold! Oh man, Kogos will never hear the end of this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Lion Tiger! After winning the bout, Lion Tiger thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
