Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Darsin Bleak (ranked 11 p4p, 153 weight class) and Olyn Seran (ranked 2 p4p, 28 weight class). Bleak's entrance music is Enter Sandman. A fine choice. Seran is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sound of Silence - Disturbed. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darsin Bleak!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 17 - 1, fighting out of New York, Olyn Seran!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bleak throws a jab when Seran was well out of range.
Seran was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Bleak misses with a shot to the body
letting Seran counter with a right hand.
Bleak throws a right hand that Seran ducks under and follows up with a left that Seran also avoids with ease.
Bleak swings for the body but Seran moves out of range.
Seran feints a counter leg kick.
Bleak throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bleak throws a right hand that misses
and Seran counters with a nice uppercut.
Seran defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bleak.
Darsin Bleak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bleak misses with a lunging right hand
and Seran counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Seran lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bleak at a distance.
Seran lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Bleak manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Seran on his heels. He'll look to pass Seran's guard now, I'm sure.
We've been hearing that Bleak has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Seran had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bleak defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bleak trying to control the position from guard on top but Seran is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bleak scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Seran is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bleak defends well.
Seran is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Bleak frees his head nicely. Oh but Seran has switched to an armbar! Bleak is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
