Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, William H Bonney!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 39 - 29 - 3, fighting out of London, Serafim Lupei!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonney buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Lupei throws a hook but Bonney blocks it.
Lupei scores with a jab.
Bonney uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lupei.
Bonney throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lupei scores with a body shot.
Lupei throws a body shot but no joy.
Bonney was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Lupei throws a lazy uppercut
and Bonney counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Bonney takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Lupei misses with a body punch
letting Bonney counter with a right hand.
Lupei looks to throw the jab but Bonney is out of range.
Serafim Lupei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lupei tries to clinch up
and Lupei takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bonney swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Lupei doesn't manage to clinch there - Bonney circles away.
Nice defenses there by Lupei.
Some bone on bone action there as Bonney checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Lupei throws a leg kick but Bonney sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Lupei missing with a left hand there. Bonney was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

and Bonney counters with a low kick, right behind Lupei 's knee.

Bonney lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Lupei!
Bonney throws a jab but it's blocked by Lupei.
Lupei appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Bonney throws a leg kick which misses Lupei's front leg but catches the back leg as Lupei tries to avoid it.
Lupei tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bonney. Lupei does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Lupei counters with a stiff right hand.
Lupei uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bonney has time to react.
Lupei sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lupei throws a hook to the side of Bonney's head but Bonney sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Bonney drops his hands momentarily and Lupei takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Bonney looks to score with a jab to the body but Lupei is just out of range.
Bonney uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lupei.
Lupei avoids the body shot from Bonney.

Lupei throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bonney sees it coming and avoids it easily.
As Lupei backs away, Bonney returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

and Bonney counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Lupei throws a leg kick but Bonney moved away.
We've been informed that Lupei has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Lupei throws a hook to the side of Bonney's head but Bonney sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A lazy body kick from Bonney
and Lupei counters with a nice body kick.
Lupei walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Bonney checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Lupei throws out a counter right but Bonney avoids it with no problem.
Bonney takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Lupei throws a looping overhand right but Bonney ducks down to avoid it.
Lupei throws a body punch but Bonney moves out of range.
Lupei misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Bonney counters with a stiff right hand.
Bonney jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Bonney feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Lupei sprawling to the canvas! Lupei rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Bonney finish him?!
Lupei is rocked!
It looks like Serafim Lupei has been cut.
Bonney fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Lupei out cold! Brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). William H Bonney!
A relieved looking William H Bonney thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
