Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bugsy Seigel (ranked 90 p4p, 74 weight class) and Adan Puno (ranked 13 p4p, 11 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 1, fighting out of New York, Bugsy Seigel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Adan Puno!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yuuki Gou and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seigel jabs at Puno's body.
Seigel lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Adan Puno has been cut.
Seigel pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Puno appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Puno throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bugsy Seigel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Puno holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

I was talking to Seigel's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Seigel tries a knee to the head but Puno blocks it.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Seigel stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Puno.
Puno sends Seigel crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Puno is motioning to the referee to let Seigel up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Seigel is rocked!
It looks like Bugsy Seigel has been cut.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Seigel thows a leg kick but Puno checks it
and Puno counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
