Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bill Hilly (ranked 789 p4p, 1691 weight class) and DeVon Hampton (ranked 120 p4p, 265 weight class). Hilly comes into the arena with Gary Moore - Whiskey in the Jar (Tribute to Phil Lynott) [HQ] [9/10] blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bill Hilly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, DeVon Hampton!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hampton uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hilly.
Hilly throws a leg kick
and Hampton counters with a takedown into side control.
Hampton throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Hilly takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Hampton throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Hilly tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Hampton lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Hampton has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Hampton is riding his opponent, not letting Hilly buck him off.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hampton gets his hands free as Hilly looks to control.
Hilly tries to escape but Hampton has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Hampton looking to break Hilly's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Hilly remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Hampton will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Hilly is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Hampton has the hooks in. Hilly is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Hilly knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hampton on the ground.
The referee is taking a good look at Hilly as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Hampton!

Hilly ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hampton moves away.
Hampton changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Hilly jabs Hampton to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Hilly stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hilly wants it to stay on the feet.
The fighters circle momentarily. Hilly darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Hilly uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hampton has time to react.
