Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mate Orsic (ranked 338 p4p, 372 weight class) and Mister Mediocre (ranked 54 p4p, 61 weight class). Orsic comes to the cage accompanied by KRS One - Rappaz R. N. Dainja. Mediocre is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Champ Is Here!. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, Mate Orsic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mister Mediocre!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mediocre misses with a hook. Orsic ducked under it nicely.
A nice leg kick lands there from Mediocre.
Orsic checks a low kick from Mediocre.
Orsic swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Mister Mediocre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mediocre lands a leg kick that knocks Orsic off balance momentarily.

Orsic rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mediocre moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Mediocre fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Orsic is out of range.
Orsic shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Mediocre gets caught napping as Orsic dives in and scores a takedown. Mediocre manages to retain guard.
Orsic stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mediocre swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Orsic is working hard here to advance position.
Orsic got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mediocre has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Orsic has managed to get both his arms back between Mediocre's legs - danger averted.
Mediocre has his foot on Orsic's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Orsic works his way back into a safe position though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mediocre lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Orsic has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Orsic and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
