Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shichiroji San (ranked 2058 p4p, 1339 weight class) and Jesus Sanchez (ranked 301 p4p, 200 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Sanchez's choice of entrance music: Duele El Carazon. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Shichiroji San! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 27 - 27 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jesus Sanchez! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! San with a hook. San lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
It looks like Jesus Sanchez has been cut. Sanchez shoots in and drives through. San sprawls well. San waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Sanchez. Sanchez bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Sanchez drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. San is looking for a sweep. San can't do much from the bottom here. San is not content to let Sanchez control the position. Sanchez remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. You can see the frustration on San's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. San is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. San prevents Sanchez from improving position. San is not content to let Sanchez control the position. Sanchez might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control San haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. San wants to control but Sanchez postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Sanchez trying to control the action but San is working from the bottom. Sanchez has knee on belly and moves into mount. San is squirming around, avoiding Sanchez's attempts to control the action. San wants to hold on but Sanchez pushes him away. San is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sanchez is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Sanchez looking to control but San is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. San really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Sanchez with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
San is desperately trying to improve his position but Sanchez has a good base and remains in mount. Sanchez trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. San tries to hold on but Sanchez pushes him away. San is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Not much technique there but it did the business. San throws out a loose jab but Sanchez uses good head movement to avoid it. Sanchez blocks a head kick by San.

Sanchez knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Sanchez for a finish. Sanchez is in bad spot here.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Shichiroji San! A less than humble Shichiroji San misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
