PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Macka Briggs (ranked 319 p4p, 588 weight class) and Khadem Abdul Karim (ranked 46 p4p, 80 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Briggs might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Stepping Razor by Peter Tosh. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Ben Watson and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Briggs throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Abdul Karim stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Briggs tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Abdul Karim manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Briggs has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

That was a close second round but I would say that Macka Briggs will probably get the nod.

Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Briggs screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
