Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jovan Dickons (ranked 364 p4p, 351 weight class) and Stoner Steve (ranked 59 p4p, 56 weight class). Dickons kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Sidung. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dickons throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Steve blocks a leg kick.
Steve walks into a stiff left hand from Dickons.
Dickons digs a good body shot into Steve's ribs.
Dickons is trying hard to land a takedown here. Steve sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
We've been hearing reports that Dickons has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Dickons throws a head kick but Steve moves out of range.
Dickons lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Steve tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Steve is squirming around, avoiding Dickons's attempts to control the action.

Dickons goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Steve is on top in guard.

Dickons is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Steve is aware though and is defending well.

Dickons is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Dickons is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Steve pulls his head out easily.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Steve remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Steve throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dickons sees it coming and avoids it easily.

and Steve counters with a crisp right hand that drops Dickons! Steve lets Dickons back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

It looks like Jovan Dickons has been cut.

and Steve counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
