Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Viikinki (ranked 267 p4p, 420 weight class) and Johan Joestar (ranked 17 p4p, 18 weight class). Joestar is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Coda - Bloody Stream. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tony Viikinki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Johan Joestar!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viikinki misses with a body punch
and Joestar counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Nice defenses there by Viikinki.
Viikinki misses with a hook
and Joestar counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Viikinki moves forwards but Joestar connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Viikinki throws a quick inside leg kick.
Joestar swings and misses with a hook to the body.

and Viikinki counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Johan Joestar has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been informed that Joestar has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Joestar cracks Viikinki with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Viikinki misses with an uppercut.
Joestar finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Viikinki changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Viikinki throws a right and a left that both miss.
Joestar looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
The fighters circle momentarily. Viikinki darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Joestar unleashes a big counter combination but Viikinki bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Joestar misses with an uppercut
and Viikinki counters with a good low kick that Joestar was not able to check.
Joestar walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Joestar throws a sloppy head kick and Viikinki moves out of range easily.
A telegraphed right hand from Viikinki misses the target.
Joestar replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Viikinki blocks it well.
A nice leg kick from Viikinki, right into the meat of the thigh.
Viikinki connects with a leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Viikinki swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Viikinki drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Joestar uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Viikinki.

and Joestar connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Viikinki works Joestar's body with a nice hook.
Joestar chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Viikinki does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Joestar on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Viikinki moves away from the strike by Joestar.
Viikinki appears to be looking for a big counter.
A swing and a miss from Viikinki.
Viikinki throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A solid leg kick lands there for Viikinki.

A clash of legs there as Viikinki blocks the low kick.
Viikinki scores with a crisp jab that stopped Joestar in his tracks.
Joestar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Joestar dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Joestar throws a series of punches but Viikinki moves out of range.
Viikinki throws a nice looking combination but Joestar bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Joestar takes one to the chin there.
Joestar displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Viikinki throws out the jab.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Tony Viikinki dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Johan Joestar's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Viikinki lands a big head kick that sends Joestar tumbling to the mat! Viikinki takes a step backwards and waves Joestar back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Viikinki has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Joestar fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Viikinki throws a leg kick
and Joestar counters with a nice body kick.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Joestar swings for the body but Viikinki moves out of range.
Viikinki looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Viikinki has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Joestar.
Joestar tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Viikinki counters with a stiff right hand.
Viikinki throws a shot to the body.
Joestar is looking to slow Viikinki down with leg kicks.

Viikinki cracks Joestar with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Joestar looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Viikinki finish him?

That has opened up Johan Joestar's cut even more.
Viikinki throws a combination that misses
and Joestar counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Joestar tries to score with a low kick but Viikinki moves his leg out of the way.
Joestar misses with a left hand
and Viikinki counters with a right hand from hell and Joestar is out cold! A vicious knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tony Viikinki!
Tony Viikinki opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
