Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Hightower (ranked 151 p4p, 114 weight class) and Leonid Zakharov (ranked 7 p4p, 6 weight class). Hightower comes to the cage accompanied by The Power. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 36 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jason Hightower!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leonid Zakharov!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Ben Hemmingworth and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zakharov throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hightower was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Zakharov wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Hightower takes one on the button.
Hightower bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Zakharov throws out a loose jab but Hightower uses good head movement to avoid it.
Zakharov throws a right hand that misses
enabling Hightower to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Leonid Zakharov has been cut.
Zakharov connects with a solid leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zakharov connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hightower's hands.
Donk. Hightower catches Zakharov right on the button with a cross.
Hightower has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Blacktalians MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Leonid Zakharov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hightower pounces like a tiger and cracks Zakharov with a vicious hook! Zakharov is down but not out! Hightower follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jason Hightower!
