Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Olan Zapina (ranked 1360 p4p, 2307 weight class) and Jackson Hole (ranked 135 p4p, 196 weight class). The key to victory for Olan Zapina has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jackson Hole!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Illya Tyunina and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Zapina.
Hole tries to score a power double leg takedown but Zapina sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hole somewhat.
Hole shoots in for a takedown but Zapina shows good takedown defense.
Hole has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

It looks like Hole might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Let's hope that Hole has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That was a close round but I would say that Olan Zapina will probably get the nod.

Zapina tries to stand but Hole is controlling his head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

You can see the frustration on Hole's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Jackson Hole has got the better of the ground game so far.

Zapina is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hole can do to turn this around?

Zapina jabs Hole right on the nose. Hole blinks but takes it well.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Zapina, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
