Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iron Side (ranked 933 p4p, 1088 weight class) and Paulo Kogos (ranked 112 p4p, 131 weight class). Side kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is In the Dark - Vintage Culture, Fancy Inc . I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Paulo Kogos was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fighters circle momentarily. Kogos darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Side cracks Kogos with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Side has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kogos to stand back up!

Paulo Kogos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looked like Side was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Kogos lands a nice hook to Side's body. Side takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Kogos lands a brutal uppercut that launches Side off his feet! Side tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

A determined Paulo Kogos didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
