Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Adam Bogo (ranked 1232 p4p, 3603 weight class) and Erica Santana (ranked 92 p4p, 217 weight class). Santana is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Scream - OG Ron C. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santana misses with a double jab
so Bogo counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Bogo trying to control the position from guard on top but Santana is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bogo scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Bogo is working Santana over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Santana controls Bogo momentarily but Bogo frees himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bogo is looking to stand up but Santana won't let him.
Bogo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Santana manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bogo has Santana in his guard.

Bogo is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Santana defends well.
Santana wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Bogo's closed guard. He's half up but Bogo has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Bogo pivots and extends the arm, Santana falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Bogo! Well done that man!
