Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bob Probert (ranked 724 p4p, 1196 weight class) and Robbie McBobbie (ranked 64 p4p, 108 weight class). Probert comes into the arena with DNA blaring out of the sound system. Bob Probert is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Probert!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robbie McBobbie!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Probert just misses with a punch to the body.
Probert fakes a jab and throws a low kick but McBobbie checks it well.
We've been told by Probert's head coaches at The Rubber Guard Emporium that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Probert pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces McBobbie back to the cage. Probert follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
McBobbie ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Probert throws an uppercut from half a mile away. McBobbie sees it coming and avoids it easily.
McBobbie now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Probert throws the left hand but McBobbie avoids the punch easily.
McBobbie misses with a hook.
McBobbie ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Probert moves away.
A jab from McBobbie does it's job there.
Probert throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
McBobbie chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Probert can pounce on him.
McBobbie steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Probert.
McBobbie closes the distance and lands a one-two.

It looks like Bob Probert has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McBobbie bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
McBobbie misses the jab.
McBobbie scores with the left hand. Probert knows he should have avoided that one.
McBobbie has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
McBobbie checks a leg kick.

Probert throws a sloppy head kick and McBobbie moves out of range easily.
It seemed like McBobbie was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Probert jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Probert cracks McBobbie with a good jab.
Probert goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

McBobbie moves in looking to clinch but Probert pushes him off.
The fighters circling - Probert throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Probert misses with a body shot.
Probert tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and McBobbie counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
McBobbie lands a head shot.
Probert misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from McBobbie.
McBobbie throws out a counter right but Probert avoids it with no problem.
McBobbie goes for a double leg but Probert avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Probert continues to drive forward.
Probert appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McBobbie connects with a crisp jab.
Probert slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
McBobbie moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Probert tries to close the distance and clinch but McBobbie swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
McBobbie looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Probert takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

and Probert counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
McBobbie misses with a right hand

Probert throws an overhand right that lands on McBobbie's shoulder, as McBobbie tries to avoid the shot.

Probert clinches up with McBobbie and pushes him back against the cage.
McBobbie wants to take the fight to the mat but Probert manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Probert lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Probert throws a blind hook that connects with the side of McBobbies head.
McBobbie lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Probert backwards.

Probert misses with a shot to the kidneys.
A head punch blocked on the inside by McBobbie.
McBobbie drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bob Probert has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robbie McBobbie.
Probert throws a blind hook that connects with the side of McBobbies head.

McBobbie is looking to take this one to the mat.

McBobbie gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Probert looks to throw the jab but McBobbie is out of range.
McBobbie smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

and Probert counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps McBobbie thinking.

Probert lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops McBobbie to his knees! Probert keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
