Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Viikinki (ranked 1021 p4p, 2320 weight class) and Charlie Hall (ranked 57 p4p, 122 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tony Viikinki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 25 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charlie Hall! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Viikinki ducks under a wild hook from Hall. Viikinki lands a jab to the nose.
It looks like Charlie Hall has been cut. Viikinki waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hall. Viikinki defending well as Hall loads up on a big left hand. Hall thows a left - swing and a miss! Viikinki was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Viikinki needs to keep his hands up - Hall had a free shot at his head there. Nice defenses there by Hall. Hall swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Viikinki moves away from the strike by Hall. Viikinki misses with a low kick. Despite the aggression on Hall's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Viikinki throws a hook to the side of Hall's head but Hall sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Nice straight punches there by Viikinki. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Viikinki. Hall misses with a hook. Viikinki ducked under it nicely. Hall throws a jab when Viikinki was well out of range. Viikinki swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Viikinki throws a hook but Hall avoids it easily. Hall thuds his right hand into Viikinki's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Charlie Hall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hall swinging wildly here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hall misses with a hook. Viikinki ducked under it nicely. Hall will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Viikinki moves out of range as Hall strikes. Viikinki was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hall lands the left hand. Hall waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Viikinki. Tony Viikinki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hall displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Viikinki throws out the jab. Hall misses with a hook. A big left from Hall misses. Hall throws a jab but it's blocked by Viikinki. Hall throws a jab but it's blocked by Viikinki. Hall throws a body kick that misses. Viikinki waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hall. Hall staying out of range there. Viikinki slips a jab from Hall. Hall throws a big shot that misses. Viikinki connects with a looping right hand.
Viikinki throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A combination from Hall does no damage. Viikinki drops Hall with a beautiful combination! Hall stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Viikinki is looking for the KO! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hall scores with a hook to the body. Viikinki takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Hall lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Viikinki circles away quickly and effectively. A combination from Hall does no damage. Viikinki takes one to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Viikinki misses with an uppercut. Viikinki misses with a hook. Hall ducked under it nicely. We've been informed that Hall has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Viikinki throws a looping overhand right but Hall ducks down to avoid it. Nice jab there from Hall. Viikinki lands an overhand right.
That has opened up Charlie Hall's cut even more. Hall throws an off balance right hand
and Hall takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The cut above Charlie Hall's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Viikinki scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Hall misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Viikinki throws a body punch but Hall moves out of range. Hall throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jab from Hall. Viikinki misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hall slips a straight right by Viikinki. Hall jabbing away but nothing is landing. Viikinki's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hall connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Viikinki scrambles back to his feet. Viikinki uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hall. Viikinki lands a nice shot that snaps Hall's head back.
Hall misses with an uppercut. Viikinki saw that one coming. Viikinki buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hall scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Hall just misses with a punch to the body.
Hall lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Hall tries a low kick but Viikinki avoids it. Viikinki is looking to counter punch. Viikinki keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hall ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Hall ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Viikinki moves away. Hall swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hall takes a shot right to the bread basket. Hall looks winded! Viikinki ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. As Hall looks to move away, Viikinki throws a big counter combo but Hall just gets out of the way. Viikinki lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Charlie Hall's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Charlie Hall's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Tony Viikinki! Tony Viikinki decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
