Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Janko Godwin (ranked 74 p4p, 194 weight class) and Dexter Roussel (ranked 11 p4p, 27 weight class). Roussel is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Manau - J'ai laissé là bas . Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Janko Godwin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dexter Roussel!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Godwin ducks under a wild hook from Roussel.
Godwin tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Roussel manages to circle out of the way.
Godwin shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Roussel's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Roussel is on top in guard.
Roussel keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Godwin's head.
Roussel works over Godwin with some ground and pound from guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Godwin has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Roussel regains guard immediately.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A relieved looking Janko Godwin thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
