Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Custer (ranked 607 p4p, 1140 weight class) and Aonghus Mormaer (ranked 82 p4p, 145 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jesse Custer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Aonghus Mormaer!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mormaer feints and then cracks Custer's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Custer down.
Aonghus Mormaer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Custer walks into a stiff left hand from Mormaer.
Mormaer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A telegraphed right hand from Mormaer misses the target.
Custer tries to close the distance and clinch but Mormaer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
We've been told by Custer's head coaches at FF Forever that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Custer avoids the body shot from Mormaer.
Mormaer throws a right hand that misses
and Custer counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Mormaer throws the left hand but Custer avoids the punch easily.
Custer lands a head kick. Mormaer smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Custer lands a big uppercut and Mormaer crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Mormaer looks OK. Custer waves Mormaer back to his feet!

Mormaer throws a shot from downtown. Custer moves away and avoids it.
Custer gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Mormaer throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Custer drives through and clinches with Mormaer against the cage.

Custer looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Mormaer pulls guard.
Custer avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Custer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mormaer on the ground.
Mormaer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Custer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Custer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Custer stands and steps away. Mormaer gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Custer lands a big right hand that sends Mormaer crashing to the mat! Custer stays standing though and waves Mormaer back to his feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Mormaer takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Custer thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Mormaer if he has to take too many more of those.

A little feinted left hand from Custer on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Custer takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Custer forces Mormaer back against the cage and clinches.
Custer tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Mormaer's elbow.
Mormaer using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Custer has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Mormaer is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Custer creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Mormaer is trying to force a seperation but Custer has the dominant position.

Custer's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Custer swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Mormaer tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Custer swings wildly with an uppercut but Mormaer uses good head movement to avoid it.
Custer breaks the clinch.
Mormaer cracks Custer with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Mormaer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Custer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Mormaer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mormaer misses with a hook.
Mormaer getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
A nice inside leg kick there by Custer. That's going to slow Mormaer down.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Custer goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Custer is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mormaer can do to turn this around?

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Crack! A monster head kick from Custer and Mormaer falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Custer!
