Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bantam Rooster (ranked 2068 p4p, 1431 weight class) and Shinichiro Tomonaga (ranked 141 p4p, 104 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bantam Rooster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Shinichiro Tomonaga! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Paulo Santos and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rooster wants to clinch up but Tomonaga keeps it at a distance. Rooster works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
It looks like Shinichiro Tomonaga has been cut. Rooster throws a predictable looking body shot
and Tomonaga cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A big left from Rooster misses. A little jabbing left from Tomonaga on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Rooster shoots and misses enabling Tomonaga to counter with a crisp jab. Bantam Rooster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rooster is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tomonaga sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Rooster moves into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rooster breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Tomonaga has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. The fight stays on the outside here - Rooster looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Tomonaga lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Rooster clinches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tomonaga has a couple of punches blocked by Rooster.
Rooster definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Rooster escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rooster looks to clinch and Tomonaga counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Rooster to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Tomonaga!
