The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chai avoids the body shot from Khanna.
Khanna misses with an uppercut
and Chai counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Raja Khanna has been cut.
Khanna lands with a shot to the body.
Chai fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

It looked like Chai wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Raja Khanna is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Chai tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Khanna was well out of range. Poor timing from Chai.

It looked like Chai was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Khanna.
Khanna throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Khanna scores with a head kick. Chai tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Chai uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Khanna.
Khanna slips under a jab.
And Khanna responds with a good body kick, but Chai manages to step out the way in time.

Chai gets a double leg takedown into Khanna's guard.
Khanna wants to get back to his feet but Chai passes into half guard.

Khanna has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

Chai is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Khanna can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Raja Khanna's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Raja Khanna's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
