Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vasil Petrov (ranked 22 p4p, 29 weight class) and Tagnarach Kamara (ranked 1 p4p, 2 weight class). Kamara has chosen BLIND SPOTS as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vasil Petrov!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tagnarach Kamara!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov throws a jab but it's blocked by Kamara.
Petrov misses with a hook to the body
and Kamara counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Vasil Petrov has been cut.
Petrov misses with a looping left.
A little jabbing left from Kamara on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Kamara takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Petrov has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Kamara throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
It looked like Petrov was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Kamara.
A slow jab from Kamara misses its intended target.
Kamara slips a jab from Petrov.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kamara! But no joy.
Petrov swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Kamara cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Petrov thows a leg kick but Kamara checks it
and Kamara makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Petrov misses with an uppercut. Kamara saw that one coming.
Petrov throws a hook to the side of Kamara's head but Kamara sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kamara is trying to counter with his kicks.
Petrov throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A low kick from Kamara is predictable there
and Petrov counters with a series of strikes. Kamara will be more careful next time no doubt.
Petrov goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Petrov misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kamara.
Kamara flicks out a counter leg kick but Petrov steps away.
Petrov throws an off balance right hand
letting Kamara counter with a right hand.
Petrov throws a right hand that misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Petrov rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kamara cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A looping hook to the body misses from Petrov. Kamara does a little dance to reset his feet.
Petrov throws a head kick but Kamara moves out of range.
Kamara appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Kamara on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Petrov. Petrov obviously looking to wear him down.
Vasil Petrov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Petrov fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kamara.
Petrov misses with an uppercut.
Kamara throws out a counter right but Petrov avoids it with no problem.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A big right from Petrov misses.
Kamara doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Kamara sends Petrov crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Kamara is motioning to the referee to let Petrov up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Petrov is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Petrov misses with a leg kick
and Kamara counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.

Tagnarach Kamara is the new welterweight champion!
After winning the bout, Tagnarach Kamara thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
