Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Knuckles (ranked 1556 p4p, 1544 weight class) and Dougie McFistface (ranked 213 p4p, 209 weight class). McFistface comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Tiptoe Through The Tulips kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Ben Hemmingworth and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knuckles leaves McFistface with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
McFistface pivots, looking for a leg kick but Knuckles is out of range and McFistface settles back down.
McFistface avoids a kick to the body.
McFistface looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as McFistface checks a leg kick.
McFistface tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Knuckles paws at him with a jab and circles away.
It looked like Knuckles wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
McFistface looks for a takedown but Knuckles sprawls well.

McFistface changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Knuckles looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and McFistface has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from McFistface and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

It looked like Knuckles was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from McFistface.

and Knuckles makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Knuckles lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

McFistface has Knuckles up against the cage in a clinch.
McFistface has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Knuckles avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

McFistface pulls Knuckles into guard.
McFistface is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

McFistface has his foot on Knuckles's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Knuckles works his way back into a safe position though.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Knuckles, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
