Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Namond Moore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 62 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mariusz Pudzianowski!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pudzianowski throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Moore fails with a takedown attempt.
Moore looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Moore looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pudzianowski is fending him off so far but Moore persists. Nope, Pudzianowski circles away and we're back to standing.
Pudzianowski leaves Moore with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Namond Moore. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pudzianowski tries to work over Moore's front leg with a kick but Moore checks it.
Pudzianowski tries to land a leg kick but Moore saw it coming and moves away.
Moore fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Moore avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Moore tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Pudzianowski forces Moore back against the cage and clinches.
Moore decides to pull guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Moore wants to sweep here but Pudzianowski controlling him for the moment.
Moore escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pudzianowski gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Moore is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Pudzianowski is aware though and is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Moore working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pudzianowski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Moore is tightening it up a little... Pudzianowski has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Pudzianowski reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Pudzianowski taps out! Nice BJJ there by Moore!
