Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between DeVon Hampton (ranked 1326 p4p, 1046 weight class) and Matthew Quigley (ranked 210 p4p, 165 weight class). Matthew Quigley will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, DeVon Hampton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 21 - 16 - 0, fighting out of London, Matthew Quigley! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hampton tries for a takedown but Quigley sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Quigley looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. We've been hearing reports that Hampton has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Hampton dodges the punch combination from Quigley.
Hampton takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Hampton shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Hampton throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Quigley was covering up waiting for the punch and Hampton finishes the takedown easily into guard. Quigley wants to get back to his feet but Hampton is in a dominant position and won't allow it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Quigley keeping moving, preventing Hampton from controlling successfully.

Hampton wants to pass the guard but Quigley is keeping the position. Quigley looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hampton is one step ahead there. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Hampton in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hampton prevents Quigley from getting back to his feet.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Hampton is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Quigley.
It looks like DeVon Hampton has been cut. Hampton staying out of range there. Hampton drops down looking for a counter takedown but Quigley sprawls and moves away. Hampton shoots and misses letting Quigley counter with a right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for DeVon Hampton. That's going to take a lot out of him. A big left from Quigley misses. Hampton avoids the body shot from Quigley.
Hampton shoots in looking for a takedown. Quigley tries to sprawl out of it but Hampton keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Quigley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Hampton shoots and misses and Quigley counters with a crisp right that sends Hampton to the canvas! Quigley follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matthew Quigley! Our winner, Matthew Quigley, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
