Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kodiyak Redd (ranked 542 p4p, 1118 weight class) and Robbie Hall (ranked 26 p4p, 47 weight class). Hall comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Andy Shauf: The Magician kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kodiyak Redd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, Robbie Hall!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Redd lands a jab to Hall's midsection.

Redd throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hall was covering up waiting for the punch and Redd finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hall working for a triangle but Redd defends it easily.
Redd sitting in guard, not really doing much.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hall looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Hall has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Redd can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Hall looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hall keeping moving, preventing Redd from controlling successfully.

Redd keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hall's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Redd trying to control the position from guard on top but Hall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Hall is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Hall had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Redd defends it easily.
Redd stands up over Hall, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Redd tries to free his leg and advance position but Hall is retaining full guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hall has his foot on Redd's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Redd works his way back into a safe position though.

Hall escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Redd gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Redd avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Hall keeping moving, preventing Redd from controlling successfully.
Redd lands a couple of elbows.

Redd engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Hall throws his legs up looking for a submission but Redd uses it to pass to side control.

Redd cracks Hall with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Redd scores with punches from side control.
Hall tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Redd is looking to take a break and control but Hall is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Hall is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Redd controlling the position from side mount.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Hall gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Kodiyak Redd dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!

Redd lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Redd throws a poor cross that misses

and Hall counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Redd is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Hall wants to control but Redd is keeping him busy.
Redd is trying to maintain the position but Hall is very close to passing his half guard.

Hall is working for a submission of some sort.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hall seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Redd is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Robbie Hall was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
