Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Thorvald Nansen (ranked 1287 p4p, 1046 weight class) and Tommy Vercetti (ranked 175 p4p, 144 weight class). Nansen kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Benny Jamz - Torden. Vercetti has chosen Vice City as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Nansen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Vercetti gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Vercetti scores with the left hand. Nansen knows he should have avoided that one.

Nansen takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Vercetti misses with an uppercut. Nansen saw that one coming.
Vercetti has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Vercetti cracks Nansen with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
The crowd cheers as Vercetti lands an impressive looking overhand right. Nansen doesn't seem phased though.

Vercetti bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Vercetti might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
This has been an exciting period of action!
