Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chad Bartz (ranked 97 p4p, 104 weight class) and Wille Thai (ranked 12 p4p, 14 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 23 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Bartz! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 25 - 18 - 0, fighting out of London, Wille Thai! The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Ben Hemmingworth and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bartz connects with the punch.
It looks like Wille Thai has been cut. A looping hook to the body misses from Bartz. Thai does a little dance to reset his feet. Bartz swings away with a body shot that misses
and Thai counters with a shoot takedown. Bartz fights it but they end up in guard. Thai drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Thai jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Thai advances to half guard. Thai is working for a kimura but Bartz is defending it quite comfortably.
Thai looking for a submission but Bartz manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Thai wants to pass the guard but Bartz is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bartz has Thai pulled in close to control his posture. Bartz keeping full guard, as Thai tries to pass. Thai is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Thai postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bartz is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Thai, into his guard.
Thai is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bartz defends well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Thai has his feet on Bartz's thighs here. He's pushed Bartz off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Bartz screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
