Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bruno Evangelista!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andre Driver!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Driver does it's job there.
It looks like Bruno Evangelista has been cut.
Driver uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Evangelista.
Driver has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Evangelista ducks right into an uppercut from Driver.
Bruno Evangelista seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Evangelista lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Evangelista misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Driver is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Evangelista with a body shot.
Driver misses with a straight right.
Driver lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Evangelista sprawling to the canvas. Driver follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Evangelista hang on?
Evangelista is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Driver decides to return to a standing position.
Oh Evangelista is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Evangelista misses with a double jab
and Driver counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Evangelista out cold! What a finish! Driver is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
