Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Kogos (ranked 448 p4p, 931 weight class) and Joey Faolin (ranked 72 p4p, 146 weight class). Faolin has chosen It Ain’t a Crime by House of Pain as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faolin slips a straight right by Kogos.
Joey Faolin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kogos bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kogos was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Faolin misses with a hook. Kogos ducked under it nicely.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Faolin can do anything to dispel that myth.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Faolin wants to stand but Kogos is controlling the position.

Faolin is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
