Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Buzz Bullard (ranked 1551 p4p, 3143 weight class) and Kamil Decaukas (ranked 120 p4p, 205 weight class). The key to victory for Buzz Bullard has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Buzz Bullard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kamil Decaukas! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Russell Pearce and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Bullard enables Decaukas to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bullard manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Bullard has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Bullard working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Decaukas doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Decaukas manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bullard has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Bullard has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Decaukas preventing the sweep. Bullard is working hard here to advance position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bullard is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Decaukas wants to control from the top but Bullard keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Decaukas got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bullard has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Decaukas has managed to get both his arms back between Bullard's legs - danger averted. Decaukas trying to control but Bullard is working from the bottom. Decaukas pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bullard is keeping the position for now. Decaukas looking to sit in guard and control but Bullard gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Bullard passes Decaukas's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Decaukas felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Bullard tries to pass the half guard into mount. Decaukas knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Decaukas is looking for a sweep. Bullard is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Decaukas regains full guard. Nicely done. Decaukas has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bullard is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Decaukas. Bullard scoring with punches and elbows. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Decaukas tries to buck Bullard off but Bullard is having none of it. That's three minutes gone in the round. Decaukas on the wrong end of some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bullard is trying to get an arm triangle but Decaukas is defending well. Bullard trying to control the action but Decaukas is working from the bottom. Decaukas is trying to improve his position. Decaukas is trying to control Bullard's posture but Bullard avoids it. Bullard is chipping away with strikes.
Bullard connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Decaukas some visible discomfort.
Bullard has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Decaukas is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Bullard's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Bullard! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Decaukas has tapped! This one is allllll over!
