Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keith Bronson (ranked 659 p4p, 2025 weight class) and Oaza Madero (ranked 42 p4p, 83 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Keith Bronson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Oaza Madero! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bronson slips a straight right by Madero. Bronson misses with a jab to the body
and Madero counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bronson thinking. Bronson swinging wildly here.
Nice jab there from Madero. No joy there for Madero, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bronson swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Madero looks to score with a jab to the body but Bronson is just out of range. Bronson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Madero moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bronson misses with a hook. Madero ducked under it nicely. Bronson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Madero. Madero shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bronson as he jumps to the side. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Madero avoids the body shot from Bronson.

Madero throws a body punch but Bronson moves out of range. Bronson appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Donk. Madero catches Bronson right on the button with a cross. Madero lands with an overhand left. Madero has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bronson is landing a low percentage of strikes.

It looks like Oaza Madero has been cut. Bronson throws a lazy right hand but Madero sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Madero swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Madero lands with an overhand left. Bronson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Bronson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at New York Training Academy in the buildup to the fight. Madero shoots and misses and Bronson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Bronson staying out of range there. Jab, jab by Madero - just one landing. Madero throws a lazy right hand but Bronson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Bronson looks to land a right hand but Madero moved out of range. Bronson moves out of range of the strikes. Bronson ducks under a wild hook from Madero. Madero looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Keith Bronson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oaza Madero. Bronson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Madero backs up against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bronson fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Madero throws a right hand that misses
and Bronson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Madero closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bronson quickly recovers to half guard. Bronson is trying to stand up here but Madero is controlling him well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Madero thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Bronson is trying to stand up here but Madero is controlling him well. Madero is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bronson defends it well. Madero looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Bronson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Oaza Madero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bronson takes one to the chin there. Madero tests Bronson's chin there with a solid looking shot. Madero loads up on a big right hand but Bronson slips the punch.

A lazy left from Madero finds it's target. Bronson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Madero misses with a right hand and Bronson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That has opened up Oaza Madero's cut even more. Bronson misses with a straight left. Bronson throws a body shot but no joy. Madero throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bronson sees it coming and avoids it easily. Madero bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Madero throws a body shot but no joy. A decent looking cross lands there for Madero. Madero misses with an uppercut. Bronson saw that one coming. Bronson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Madero throws a hook but Bronson blocks it. Madero is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bronson had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush. Madero throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bronson sees it coming and avoids it easily. A jab from Bronson does it's job there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bronson misses with an uppercut. Madero saw that one coming.

Madero goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Madero thows a left - swing and a miss! Madero misses with a left hand and Bronson counters with a left to the body. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bronson moves out of range as Madero strikes. Bronson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Madero connects with a crisp jab. Madero closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bronson circles away. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Keith Bronson will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Oaza Madero's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Madero throws the left hand but Bronson avoids the punch easily. Bronson ducks under a wild hook from Madero. A little feinted left hand from Bronson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Bronson takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Madero on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Madero steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bronson. Keith Bronson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Oaza Madero's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Bronson defending well as Madero loads up on a big left hand. Madero uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bronson has time to react. Bronson avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Bronson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bronson throws a jab when Madero was well out of range. Bronson slips a jab from Madero. Bronson slips a straight right by Madero. Madero staying out of range there. Bronson looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Madero ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Madero lands a nice shot that snaps Bronson's head back.

Bronson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Madero eats them both and turns towards Bronson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Oaza Madero's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
