Ignatiev comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Beats That kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ignatiev throws a low kick but Chai avoids it.
Chai misses with a hook.
Chai walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Chai keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

We've been hearing reports that Chai has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Chai shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Chai misses with an uppercut. Ignatiev saw that one coming.
Ignatiev throws out a counter right but Chai avoids it with no problem.
Chai takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chai closes the distance and clinches up with Ignatiev, looking for a takedown. Chai pushes Ignatiev against the cage but Ignatiev circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ignatiev wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Ignatiev throws out a counter right but Chai avoids it with no problem.

Chai changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Chai lands a really nice looking cross but Ignatiev seems unphased.

It looks like Nikolai Ignatiev has been cut.
The fight stays on the outside here - Chai looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ignatiev has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Ignatiev fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Chai to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Chai looks to clinch but Ignatiev throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Chai taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
