The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lang uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Adam takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Lang throws out a loose jab but Adam uses good head movement to avoid it.
Adam throws a hook but Lang blocks it.
Lang feints a counter leg kick.
Adam staying out of range there.

Adam lands a slapping body shot.

Adam misses with an uppercut. Lang saw that one coming.
Lang slips a straight right by Adam.
Adam takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Adam throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Adam checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Lang catches Adam with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Adam drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Adam wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lang keeps working.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Adam cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Lang is pulling down on Adam's head. It's preventing any offense from Adam, at least for the moment.
Lang wants to sweep but no luck.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Adam looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lang is fending him off so far but Adam persists. Nope, Lang circles away and we're back to standing.
Lang now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Adam shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Lang keeping hold of Adam's head, controlling as best he can.
Lang is pressing down on Adam's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Adam accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Principo Adam overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lang wants to improve his position but instead Adam has moved into half guard.

Adam throws his legs up looking for a submission but Lang uses it to pass to side control.
Adam is trying to escape the position but Lang is controlling the position.

Lang is looking to take a break and control but Adam is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Lang remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Adam bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lang's head.
Principo Adam is winning the standup battle so far.
Adam tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Lang defends well and Adam ends up having to push Lang into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Clubber Lang showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Lang lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Adam misses with a series of wild punches.
Lang looks to land a right hand but Adam moved out of range.
Adam moves into range and connects with a jab.
Adam throws a shot from downtown. Lang moves away and avoids it.
Lang steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Lang thuds his shin into the meat of Adam's side.
Lang finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Lang fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Adam looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Clubber Lang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lang throws a looping overhand right but Adam ducks down to avoid it.

Principo Adam spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
