Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Valentin Taneyev (ranked 465 p4p, 1613 weight class) and Wallace Cobb (ranked 67 p4p, 238 weight class). Taneyev's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Demolisher - Slaughter to Prevail. Cobb has chosen Where's Wallace? as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 35 - 20 - 1, fighting out of London, Valentin Taneyev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wallace Cobb!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Skip Squint and Chris Dean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cobb fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Wallace Cobb seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cobb throws a jab but it's blocked by Taneyev.
It looked like Taneyev wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Taneyev, as that shot connected.
Taneyev thows a left - swing and a miss!

Cobb closes the distance and pushes Taneyev back into the cage.
Taneyev goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
A right hook to the body lands for Taneyev.

Taneyev escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cobb throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Taneyev throws a head kick that misses.
Cobb has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Cobb there as he acknowledges the shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cobb. Taneyev does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cobb will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Cobb ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Taneyev moves away.

It looks like Taneyev has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Crunch! Taneyev slams his shin into Cobb's torso.
Cobb is breathing heavily.
Cobb ducks right into an uppercut from Taneyev.

Taneyev cracks Cobb with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Taneyev has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Cobb to stand back up!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Taneyev turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Cobb's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Taneyev connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Cobb scrambles back to his feet.
