Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Hog Molly!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Bruce!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Alyssa Summers and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Molly tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bruce manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Molly lands a jab to the nose.
Bruce fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Molly tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bruce paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Molly with a nice cross.
Molly seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Molly closes the distance but Bruce moves to the side
and Bruce counters with a nice body kick.
Molly is breathing heavily.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Bruce. Molly shrugs it off though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bruce delivers a nice body kick.
A punch combination from Bruce misses.
Molly misses with a shot to the body
and Bruce counters with a crisp right hand that drops Molly! Bruce lets Molly back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Molly is rocked!
It looks like Hog Molly has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Molly connects with a nice looking jab.
Bruce avoids the body shot from Molly.
Bruce replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Molly blocks it well.
Bruce lands a big uppercut and Molly crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Molly looks OK. Bruce waves Molly back to his feet!
Oh Molly is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Molly drops his hands momentarily. Bruce doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Molly staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Molly doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jack Bruce!
