Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between KT Failure (ranked 5040 p4p, 2410 weight class) and Tony Halme (ranked 495 p4p, 282 weight class). Halme has chosen Katri Helena-Katson autiota hiekkarantaa as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 29 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, KT Failure! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tony Halme! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Halme looks to land a combination. Failure sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Halme tries to clinch up and Failure counters with a nice leg kick. Failure looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Halme throws a leg kick and Failure counters with a head kick that drops Halme to the mat! Halme scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly! Failure avoids the head kick by Halme.
Halme moves into range and clinches up with Failure. Halme swings wildly with an uppercut but Failure uses good head movement to avoid it. Halme throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Failure blocks it with crossed arms. Halme tries a body shot but Failure blocks it.

Halme looks to throw the jab but Failure is out of range. Halme throws a combination that misses and Failure counters with a body kick. Halme lands a jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Halme fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Halme is looking to clinch but Failure is avoiding it.
Halme is looking to clinch. Failure looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Halme is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Failure appears to be looking for a big counter. Halme looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Halme pivots, looking for a leg kick but Failure is out of range and Halme settles back down. Halme swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Halme takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Halme wants to clinch but Failure slips to the side and as Halme loses concentration momentarily, Failure counters with a picture perfect head kick! Halme goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). KT Failure! The defeated Tony Halme had this to say: 'just a bad dream.. no way I could lose.. Open your eyes.'.
