PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dean Stomp (ranked 612 p4p, 912 weight class) and Small Dayton (ranked 55 p4p, 81 weight class). Stomp comes to the cage accompanied by 80/20SKYBEEF. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dayton gets caught flat footed, as Stomp shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Dayton is looking for a triangle but Stomp pushes his legs off easily.
We've been hearing good reports from Stomp's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

That was a close round but I would say that Dean Stomp will probably get the nod.

Stomp is looking to take a break and control but Dayton is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Stomp is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Dayton tries to roll over but Stomp keeps him under control.
Dayton is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Stomp's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Stomp's back!

Dayton working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Stomp is doing well to defend. Dayton seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Stomp is forced to tap and this one is over!

A relieved looking Small Dayton thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
