The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Standifer looks to score with a jab to the body but Loris is just out of range.

Loris is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Standifer.
Standifer lands with a hook. Loris tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Loris shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Standifer defends it nicely.

Loris decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Standifer is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Loris's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Loris's back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Loris has his feet on Standifer's thighs here. He's pushed Standifer off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Standifer screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Hugo Loris decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
