The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture slips a straight right by Krylov.
Couture looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Krylov takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Krylov misses with a hook. Couture ducked under it nicely.
Krylov throws a looping overhand right but Couture ducks down to avoid it.

Couture really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Krylov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Couture is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Krylov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Couture looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Krylov thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Krylov tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Krylov has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Couture gets back to half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Krylov has hold of Couture's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Couture seems comfortable defending it but Krylov has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Couture is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Couture is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Krylov couldn't care less - he's delighted!
