Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Diogo Martins (ranked 2547 p4p, 2832 weight class) and Frankie Venegas (ranked 206 p4p, 226 weight class). Martins kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Monte Tiene Garabato. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Frankie Venegas !
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Venegas shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Martins sprawls well. Martins wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Venegas gets slowly back to his feet.
Nice takedown defense from Martins. No joy for Venegas on that attempt.
Venegas doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Martins counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Diogo Martins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frankie Venegas .
Venegas is looking to clinch.
Venegas is trying hard to land a takedown here. Martins sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Venegas walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Venegas ducks right into an uppercut from Martins.
Martins clobbers Venegas with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Martins takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Martins moves into the clinch.
Venegas drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Martins gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Martins gets underhooks to prevent Venegas 's takedown attempt.
Martins using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Venegas has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Martins with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Venegas is trying to pull guard but Martins has him pressed against the cage.
Martins is pressed up against the cage. Venegas has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Martins down to the mat. Martins avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Venegas fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Martins avoids it really well and circles away.
Martins thumps Venegas with a low kick.
Martins goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Martins scores with a nice right hand.
Martins is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Venegas walks into a straight right hand from Martins.
Venegas walks into a stiff left hand from Martins.
Venegas fails to land the takedown.
An attempted straight right counter from Martins misses the target.
Martins gets caught napping as Venegas dives in and scores a takedown. Martins manages to retain guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Martins manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Diogo Martins is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Venegas changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Martins tries to avoid it but Venegas manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Martins to the ground. Martins escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Martins throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Venegas darts in looking for a takedown but Martins gets double underhooks and turns Venegas into the cage.
Martins scores with a nice right hand.
Venegas with a lazy takedown attempt
and Martins counters with a straight right hand.
Venegas looks winded!
Martins connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Venegas momentarily.
Venegas is rocked!
Martins cracks Venegas with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Venegas falls to his knees and Martins doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
