Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Darsin Bleak (ranked 322 p4p, 653 weight class) and Mustang Jack (ranked 51 p4p, 93 weight class). Bleak comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sandman. Mustang Jack has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Darsin Bleak's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darsin Bleak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 11 - 2, fighting out of London, Mustang Jack!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bleak takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Jack just misses with a punch to the body.
Bleak attempts a counter takedown but Jack avoids it well and moves away.
Jack scores with a kick to the midsection.
Bleak uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jack.
Jack looks to score with a jab to the body but Bleak is just out of range.
Bleak has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Jack.
Jack comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Jack pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Bleak back to the cage. Jack follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Jack throws a chopping leg kick but Bleak manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Jack jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Jack moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Mustang Jack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jack throws a lazy right hand but Bleak sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
It looked like Bleak wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Bleak has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jack finds it's way round the side to connect with Bleak's head.
Jack connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Bleak on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Jack lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Bleak displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jack throws out the jab.
Bleak changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Jack cracks Bleak with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Jack lands with a nice combination. Bleak backs away looking to recover.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jack thuds his right hand into Bleak's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

A nice leg kick from Jack, right into the meat of the thigh.
Bleak moves out of range as Jack strikes.

Jack takes a swing at Bleak's ribcage but misses.

Jack lands with a kick to the temple. Bleak shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Jack feints and then cracks Bleak's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bleak down.
Jack swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bleak appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Bleak takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Bleak chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jack can pounce on him.

Jack misses with a hook.

and Bleak counters with a single leg into guard. Jack didn't expect that.
Bleak throws an elbow that misses. Jack uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bleak's guard. Nice move by Jack!

Bleak is trying to control the position but Jack postures up.

Bleak has his foot on Jack's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jack works his way back into a safe position though.
Bleak wants to hit a sweep here but Jack passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Bleak there!

Bleak is working hard here to advance position.
Bleak has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Bleak wants to hold on but Jack pushes him away.
Bleak keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Bleak takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Jack looks to land a combination but Bleak avoids it well.

Jack lands a glancing blow to the side of Bleak's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jack scores with a sloppy right hand. Bleak should have avoided that one.
Jack throws a series of punches but Bleak moves out of range.
Bleak drops down looking for a counter takedown but Jack sprawls and moves away.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jack not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Jack must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Jack throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bleak on the side of the head.

Bleak on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Bleak is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

It looks like Bleak has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Mustang Jack comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Jack winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Mustang Jack made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Darsin Bleak was interviewed post fight and said 'Good luck in the future, Panic. I'm ending my life tonight.'.
